Guest guest
Dear friends, Two new sets of cartoon-based flip-charts are now available for free downloading and use: - Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) - Reproductive anatomy Please visit: http://www.sahaya.org/cartoons.html The PMTCT materials are a supplement to the two previously developed flip-chart sets " Myths and Facts about HIV/AIDS: part I, HIV Prevention; Part II, Care and Support. " These materials have been developed as a collaboration between Rural Education and Action Development, I-TECH, Global Strategies for HIV Prevention and Sahaya International. These materials have been developed to provide simple and basic facts about HIV and reproductive anatomy, including to low-literacy communities. These materials are provided free of charge for the education of the whole community. They cannot be used for profit-making purposes without written permission of the copyright holder. It is not necessary to present all the cartoons in a set. You are free to pick and choose and add to your collection from other sources. However, modification of individual pages requires our prior written permission. Copyright of the cartoons is held by Sahaya International/READ and I-TECH. This is a work in progressŠso we welcome suggestions and feedback for ongoing improvements. The newly developed PTMCT and reproductive anatomy flip-chart materials have so far only English text. We welcome assistance of volunteers and seek financial support from funding agencies for: (i) Translations in local Indian languages (ii) Development of additional cartoons, (iii) Printing & distribution of hardcopies. Sincerely, Dr. Koen Van Rompay Sahaya International & University of California , California, USA http://www.sahaya.org To download IEC: http://www.sahaya.org/cartoons.html E-mail: kkvanrompay@...
