Guest guest
Well, I got my lab tests back today and not so good....but I am reading that when goes on induction you can expect cholesterol to go up .... not sure that my high is normal though ((((((((( HDL 295L (VERY HIGH) LDL 236.2 (VERY HIGH) HDL 42 EXERCISE PAYING OFF!!! VLDL 16.8 ON LOWER END----DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THIS IS! TRIGLICERIDES 84 (ON LOW END....GOOD RIGHT?????) I was going to give these results to my doctor at my check-up tomorrow, but I see they "they" say to wait 5 weeks and get retested. Low thyroid may elevate the cholesterol count, and I take levothyroxin....my labs came out ok there: T4 8.9 (normal 4.5-12) TSH 2.0 (normal 0.32-5.0) Joya, hoping "they" are right and I don't have a stroke tomorrow!!! Guest guest
dear joya.. actually triglycerides are more indicative of whether you will have heart problems then is cholesterol. and yours are excellent.. plus you havent been back on atkins long enuff to really have an effect.. your cholesterol is high but i would wait a while and stick to the plan and have it retested catherine

Kari said I should be taking the omega 3's, flax oil and borage .... anything else? I AM going to cut down on red meat and stuff with bad oils like the pork rinds...I found the REAL pork rinds at the same place where they sell pork and it is really greasy. So am going to stick to olive oil. Joya
