Guest guest
Hi, I'm new in this group. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with dealing with spondalitis...it's a type of arthritis that effects the spine. I actually have most pain in my hands and feet right now. Part of that is osteoarthritis. I take anti-imflamitory meds with a lot of relief for the moment. I exercise as much as I can but feel tired a lot. I also had breast cancer three summers ago, but am still dealing with radiation issues. I apparently don't have a good immune system. any thoughts? Guest guest
Hi, JoAnn! yes, I have spondy, along with spinal stenosis. I just had a fusion done March 27th = 12 weeks ago. There are different grades of spondy, and not everyone needs surgery. But I have RA, OA, fibro, too. everyone is different, and some can live with it. I was treated by an orthopedic surgeon. If you have other questions, feel free to email me directly. gentle hugs! Marcia > > Hi, > I'm new in this group. I'm on methotrexate, leucovor, Folic acid, prednizone, lisinopril, ranitidine, and cymbalta. The cymbalta, although an antidepressant, helps with the pain and I can get around better then without it. I still have my good days and bad days though. I get some pleasure sitting in the shade outside looking at my flower garden, listening to the song birds that visit my feeders, and watching my dogs play in the grass. Some times we don't have to up our meds, just experience life. God is good all the time and He gives us all of nature to enjoy. Find something you enjoy and do or experience it often.
