Inflamation and heart disease - how does this effect us?

I was listening to Dr. Dean Edell a few days ago, and he mentioned

studies showing a correlation between inflammation levels and heart

disease. This got me wondering if there were any studies on the

effect of RA or other arthritis on heart disease risk.

I don't have any answers, I was just hoping maybe someone here may

have some information on this.
