Guest guest
Clora, I hope things get easier for you, since you started taking the Humira. I know what you mean, my body doesn't catch up to my mind. It just don't go like it use to. It doesn't hurt to wish, so would love to have that new tub:) or a hot tub would do,lol You have a nice evening, Tawny > > Tawny and group; > > The reason I mentioned the hot bath is, My family tries everything > to get me in the shower. Guest guest
Tawny and group; Today has been a great day. I have minamal pain from other conditions. The RA is a monster to me. Its like the monster has been put to sleep. I don't want that monster back. I had no idea we could put that monster to sleep till I came to this precious group. Tawny I wish you could have that tub. They are really nice. I don't really care for it myself. I wish I could sit in my tub and fill it full of very warm water. Maybe someday. I am so scared the RA will sneak back. I don't have RA pain. And I am not all drugged up. Its a miracle. Many people in the group said it happen to them. I knew if it could happen to them it could happen to me. Thanks everyone. gentle kind hugs Clora > Clora,
Guest guest
> Hi Clora, I am so glad to hear that you are doing so well. I hope it continues for you. It gives me hope that oneday I will be pain free too. Unfortunately I keep having weird reactions to some of my meds for RA, it is effecting my liver. They put methol pred through me intravenoulsy at hospital (similar to predisolone)last week, it settled down the RA and FM for a few days but it it raring its ugly head again. I feel I am the doctors experiment at the moment. Hopefully they will come up with something soon. Please take care and gentle hugs back to you. > Tawny and group; > > Today has been a great day. Guest guest
Morning Clora, I'm so glad your feeling better, and your able to enjoy. One day, there will be a cure, and we can all get back to our normal life, wouldn't that be great? I have a lot of pain, most of the time. Some days, are worse then others. But, I am still so grateful, because I could be worse. I have meds to control my pain, and so I can still get around. I'm planning my daughter's b-day next month, at the amusement park. I know it's a challange for me, but they have a lot of benches. Oh, it would be great to have that tub, maybe one day. I always try to stay positive, and you never know. It would feel so good to those joints, that is for sure. Well my friend, hope your day goes well. You take care of yourself, and know your in my thoughts and prayers, Tawny > > Tawny and group; > > Today has been a great day. I have minamal pain from other > conditions. The RA is a monster to me. Guest guest
Tawny and group; Well its 3 pm and I did enjoy you telling me good morniing. Yes hon a cure would be a world wide news wouldnt it. I have about 4 post red flagged so I work my way from the bottom up. I am so sorry for your pain Tawny. I still have pain from other conditions. But they didnt keep me on my back like RA. When my daughters was young I took them to the amusment park for their birthday. They still talk about it TAwny. (Geauga lake) I hope its a wonderful time for you and your daughters. Do you have a wheel chair if so take it with you. I have a wheel chair, I havent used it yet. But I will if needed. Tawny I always believe that God will take care of me. When I cried on the bed from the RA pain I knew God heard me and he would take care of me. Its like when we give our babies immunization shots. They look at us as why mommy why you let them hurt me. We had no choice and we couldnt explain it to them cause they were to young to understand. I think its the same with God. We are to young to understand why he lets us hurt. but I believe there is a reason. I love to read your post Tawny. Your so caring and understandiing. Keep me in your prayers Tawny and keep believing. REmember the woman with the issue of blood. Jesus said her faith healed her. Keep the faith. I believe each one that believes will be heard. and taken care of. My mommy is 75 and she is like a teen ager haaaaa. She is a minister. I grew up with a minister. You know the preachers kids are always the worse haaaaaaaaaa. gentle hugs Clora
Guest guest
(((Clora))) Your such a special lady, and I'm so glad to know you. This group is so amazing, how we all reach out to each other, when we are down. I have been here quite awhile, and there have been times in the past, I've been beside myself, but someone has always lifted my spirit. I always do something special for her on her b-day. But, the last few years, not a lot of walking. But, I can sit a lot at the park, and they do have rental wheel chairs, so I might have to use one. I'm just such a stubborn person. I feel like if I can still walk, I can do it all. But, I need to change my attitude. That is so cool, your Mom is a minister. My aunt is a minister, I don't get to see her much, but she is a great person. You just keep your faith, because God will be with you, and take care of you. Have a good evening, Tawny > > Tawny and group; > > Well its 3 pm and I did enjoy you telling me good morniing. Yes hon > a cure would be a world wide news wouldnt it. Guest guest
Clora, If the Humira continues to help you, try a little walking. To keep moving, helps us so much. I use to walk a lot, and then it all crashed down on me. I try to walk, when I'm not in a lot of pain. It's kind of hard for me, I have painful feet most of the time, so you know how that is. You are right, using the scooter's, ARE so much better then hurting. Hey, you can go a lot faster, that's for sure. Take care, Tawny > > TAwny and group; > > Awe thanks TAwny.
