The Swank diet for MS has been around a very long time (1977) and is

probably missing a lot of the newer research, but clearly, diet plays a huge

role in MS. (Swank, Roy Laver & Dugan, Barbara Brewer “The Multiple

Sclerosis

Diet Book†1959 1977 Double Day ISBN:0-385-23279-9)

Some basics - get adequate Omega-3's. Check Vit D.

Limited saturated fats. Basically a nearly vegetarian diet is recommended.

One LEAP Therapist that has MS has used LEAP on approx 8 MS clients, and

every one of them has halted their MS in it's tracks with no flares and no

further advance of symptoms. So, it appears that maybe there are

individual triggers causing symptoms.

I've seen the McDougal Diet work wonders with MS clients as well - from

wheelchair to full remission of symptoms and walking again.

I was asked about the Swank diet for MS. I'm not familiar with it. Anyone

know? Thanks!
