Is anyone familiar with Spectracell testing? From what I have read, it

claims to be a way of determining nutrient status of various amino acids,

vitamins, and minerals by analyzing how well the patient's lymphocytes grow

in a culture containing these nutrients.

The " normal " values are based on a reference range that is itself based on

" how this patient's result compares to thousands of patients previously

tested " - but how does this determine what is " normal " ?

I am skeptical especially since this seems like a way to push possibly

unnecessary, expensive supplements...but I'm trying to keep an open mind

too. I'm interested in your thoughts!

years ago we were presented with utilizing this company, fortunately we did not

after obtaining information that it doesn't appear valid
