Guest guest
Is anyone familiar with Spectracell testing? From what I have read, it claims to be a way of determining nutrient status of various amino acids, vitamins, and minerals by analyzing how well the patient's lymphocytes grow in a culture containing these nutrients. The " normal " values are based on a reference range that is itself based on " how this patient's result compares to thousands of patients previously tested " - but how does this determine what is " normal " ? I am skeptical especially since this seems like a way to push possibly unnecessary, expensive supplements...but I'm trying to keep an open mind too. I'm interested in your thoughts!
