Hi Elaine,

I developed and teach a successful, highly interactive 10-week nutrition

education/behavior modification program named N.E.W. LIFE (Nutrition, Exercise,

Wellness for LIFE) which (and 7 other RD's) have taught in a variety of host

sites including Hewlett-Packard, Lockheed , BlueCross BlueShield of

Colorado, Poudre Valley Hospital (Fort , CO), Ivinson Memorial Hospital

in Laramie, Littleton Adventist Hospital, Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital

(Cherokee, Iowa), Fayette County Memorial Hospital (Washington Court House,

Ohio), Westchester Medical Group (White Plains, NY), numerous churches, health

clubs, doctor's offices, City of Fort Human Resources, Platte River

Power Authority, REA Building, Ft. Women's Clinic, Edora Pool & Ice

Center, Chilson Recreation Center, Univ. of Montana, Colorado State Univ., The

Women's Club (Missoula, MT), Stock Center (Cody, Wyo), Worland Health Club

(Worland, Wyoming) and more. Over 60 physicians, psychotherapists, health

professionals referring in northern Colorado when I moved to NY (never

full-time, grew by word-of-mouth because it works). Here are a few links from

the website to give you an idea regarding dietitians:

And although a 3-day or 10-week (2 hours/week) N.E.W. LIFE Dietitian Training

Forum is probably more than you are asking for, here is a basic outline of

information regarding the 21 CDR credit certification in the past. Depending on

where you are located and how we can communicate, we would likely be able to

work something out to provide you the opportunity to use the N.E.W. LIFE program

for your situation.

These are very sparse details about N.E.W. LIFE, but let me assure you it is a

highly interactive 10-week program as you have mentioned--a 10-week nutrition

education/behavior modification program with nutrition education by an RD, food

diary evaluations, and group supportive dynamics. I would be happy to send you

a bit more detailed information if you want me to link some files to your

personal e-mail address, or send via snail mail if you would like to provide a

physical mailing address. I could even send the link/password for you to see a

Powerpoint presentation/narration of Session 1 of the N.E.W. LIFE program online

(as I teach it :) if you like.

And as you mentioned, N.E.W. LIFE works, really works. I can share the

countless testimonies with you personally, or you might even contact one of the

N.E.W. LIFE RD's (NLD's) in the link above.

Also as you mentioned, NLD's are provided handouts for the 10-week program and a

Powerpoint presentation and overheads (if they prefer).

Regards,

Diane Preves, M.S., R.D.

Employee Wellness Program

Hello,

I am looking for any tips & /or suggestions with a highly interactive

nutrition program. They believe in the carrot approach, therefore any

incentives that have worked for you in the past or known to work :)

I have been contracted to develop & implement a 10 wk nutrition program for

employee's of the 40th larges school district is US.

The school district has had the standard cookie cutter classes & powerpoint

classes. They are looking for something dynamic & INTERACTIVE.

Any advice, suggestions, do's & don'ts would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the topics that I plan on covering. I already have the NE power

point for wellness, therefore I am also looking for handouts,

additional power point(s) / suggestions etc. AND, I am willing to purchase

them. Please email me privately if you can assist in any way.
