Sorry for the short reply. LOL I was talking to my DH and hit send. Things

are good. We still have my Step daughter with us, recovering from the brain

surg. Thank God the tumor was benign and she is strarting to get back to

normal. My pain level really sucks right now. The Dr tried to give me a

cortisone inj in my left wrist and fingers but the inflammation is not

responding to it. I am left handed so it makes things a bit harder to do. I

am wearing a brace on the hand but its more trouble than its worth. LOL. I

hope you

Hi Heidi:

Thats o.k. I can't tell you how many times I have done that! Had to send P..S.

to everyone. Gee, what a tough surgery for your step-daughter, but so glad her

tumor was benign. Also glad she is doing good. Sorry to hear about your hand

and wrists. Nasty business, and really hard that you can't get any relief from

the pain and suffering. We need our hands for everything!! What can you try

next? I know when my feet and ankles are so bad, I have wrapped them in heating

pads, plus towels, and hoped it would ease up. Have you ever tried those

Buckwheat heating pads that you heat in the microwave? My friend made them for

me, and they really work good. You can make them in any size or shape, stitch 3

sides, add the Buckwheat, stitch the last opening, and that's it. She chose a

nice cotton fabric, and I use them when needed. I have had mine for 4 years. If

you fall asleep with these, there is no danger of burning yourself, or the house

down. I pray that you

will feel better soon, your step-daughter will continue to improve each day,

and wishing you both pain free days.

Hugs to both of you.
