Does everyone experience RA differently?

I introduced myself a couple of weeks ago. I joined to learn as much

as possible for my husband, who was just diagnosed with RA. I've been

reading about everyone's experiences and I am so sorry that you all

have to experience the pain that you do. One thing I've noticed is

that it seems that everyone has very different experiences with this

disease. Is it true that RA affects each person a little differently,

or is it dependent upon the stage of the disease? My husband has

experienced pain in his hands and feet for about 6 years, and he does

get stiff, but so far he is fully functioning. Is there any way to

know what lies ahead for him? I am just so worried about him, and

want to do everything I can to help him.

Any insight or info you can share is so much appreciated.

Cherie
