We all are well aware of the crucial role played by SACS in control of HIV AIDS.

In Bihar, as in most of North Indian States, the graph of HIV infection is

rapidly increasing. But at the same time there is no Project Director, BSACS

since more than two months. The post is vacant. This is adversely affecting the

implementation of programme.

Many of the SACS contractual employees contract has ended on 31st of March and

has not been renewed to my knowledge due to the abscence of PD. CD4 testing has

become very irregular at PMCH causing lots of problems to the poor people coming

from rural areas.

Someting needs to be done urgently.
