It's good to be appreciated. No I don't celebrate birthdays but I can't forget mine since I am getting so creakingly old. I still resent the phrase " elderly " however. My only real problem right now is getting out of seats and booths but my weight loss will make that a lot easier I hope. I don't forget the kids birthdays either and quite often we will talk about their special day and what a joy it was for me to get my little bundle. Of course I had babies very easily so there wasn't any trauma or stuff like that connected with their births. It just recently occurred to me that I am now the " matriarch " of the family since my Mom died. Talk about feeling ancient. I had my first baby at 18 and that isn't far from 14, so you fit right in. It just that being adopted, you don't get the beatings that Laru gets so consider yourself lucky. Love to all, Mom Pudge (the appreciated) I feel like I'm surrounded by lots of " warm fuzzies " pudge@...
