LOL - Where have I been? Mostly working via Telecommute (for over 10 years)

from high in the Colorado Rockies, unless I'm out traveling or speaking at

state and national meetings! I've barely stepped foot (except as a

visitor on a rare occasion) in a hospital or nursing home in 10 years.

But, I thought I recalled a discussion on this listserv in the past that I

mentioned that hand sanitizers WERE NOT EFFECTIVE to control disease

spread and I was blasted for my comments by a number of RDs, saying they were

effective.

I DO see that in 2007 this was discussed here.

Where have you been? Handwashing has been standard practice for C Diff for

at least 10 years!
