Hi Maggie,

That's a good question. I've often wondered if I could use a back

brace since that's what gives me the most trouble when I'm up and

about. I hope someone has some info on that...........Doreen :)

hi maggie, yes u can use supports when xcercising it's even better cuz u r

trying to keep your strength not lose it.

Hi Maggi,

I use supports if I have them, especially for weights. If I don't have

any for my elbows/wrists then I support with the other hand. I use a

knee brace sparingly on bad days when I have to walk a lot.

I find that supports can create discomfort as they compress the

swelling so much (mainly a problem with wrist supports) that they can

cause added pain & /or numbness & tingling. So i only wear them to

protect from injury during exercise.

HI SHELLEY, i mean like ankle support for when u walk or arm support for when u

r doing rog. there's all kinds of supportive things that will help your muscles

when they r weak or just have not been used. god bless,melyndagamez 9/19/08
