I am in the process of finding some more evidence from interesting research studies,particularly a UK based one, and will try to post the link myself very soon, or otherwise enlist 's valuable help again. , you will be interested that generally positive results were obtained with Rituxan alone (no MTX)in this study.(Even though now MTX is usually given alongside if possible.) Some patients were followed up over 5 years, and they had further one off Ritux treatments at varying intervals, some getting long problem free gaps.The individual variability of need is very interesting,connected with when the naughty b cells pick up again! I will send another mail, as you asked, , about my particular professional experience with Rituximab. I just want to be very careful here, as as I said this was in a different setting entirely, but I will come back on it for you.
