I was hoping it was already after 3pm your time, but your email

looks like Central time. Maybe, you just have a little longer to

keep up with your grand baby.

So sorry that you are having a rough day. I truly hope that your

hubby doesn't want to fight anymore that you do and that you can get

some rest tonight.

> Hi. I'm trying an Elimination Diet to find out which foods are

affecting me, but I'm not off to a very good start yet. I know that

the worst one so far is CHOCOLATE. My husband and I got into a major

fight last night about me smoking and not working and I felt so bad

I stayed up all night eating Chocolate Frosting out of a can!

(Haven't been food shopping in a couple weeks and I couldn't find

any other snacks.) Needless to say, I can't even move today, I am in

so much pain - my feet, my ankles, my fingers and wrists - and my

HIPS!!! Oh my gosh I can't even walk up the steps!! My hips have

never hurt this bad. And my wrists - it actually feels like my blood

vessels hurt in them! And I have such a horrible headache! It feels

like I have a hangover! I know I have to just quit buying the

chocolate, I'm too addicted to it! I'm going to try taking a couple

fish oil capsules and see if they work. Well, I'm paying for my sins

today, because my daughter called at 7:30 am to say she was bringing

2 year-old granddaughter over for me to watch today. I was under the

impression she didn't need me to babysit this week. I didn't sleep

all night - I was on the computer reading about RA again all night.

I was just about ready to lay down when she called. I'm hoping I

only have her till about 3 pm so that I can lay down a bit before my

husband gets home and starts yelling about the shape the house is in.

at least read up on them. I am trying to share what I know with the

Shirley,

's parents finally came to get her at 4:45. They decided they wanted to

get a little shopping done before they came to get her. I had her help me wash

dishes. She loves playing in the sink with cups while I do the dishes.

I felt bad, I didn't have much to offer her as far as treats today. Haven't

been shopping for the house in a couple weeks. I did have a bottle of cherry

juice that I bought her a couple weeks ago and hid in the basement. I didn't

want my 21 year-old son finding it and polishing it off. When I brought it

upstairs today, it said 100% TART cherry juice - OMG - I didn't notice that when

I bought it. It was way too tart. She didn't want it. I tried putting a tiny bit

of sugar in it, even though I don't like doing that, but it still tasted way too

tart. I don't think all the sugar in the world would have made it taste

acceptable to her - it was just too tart. Boy, when I bought it, it was very

expensive, but I thought it would be good change for her to have a different

kind of juice for a change. I just didn't notice that it said " TART " . I bought

two bottles of it - I still have one in the basement. I'll have to mix it with

some other juice when I get some.

I was going to say a little about my husband, but I'm way too angry at him,

plus, he's due home any minute. I want to get in bed and fall asleep before he

walks in. Besides, he won't fight anymore, now he'll just give me the silent

treatment for days and days. After 32 years, I'm getting kinda use to it. Looks

like it will be last years venison & rice for a couple more days... He'll

probably go out to eat. I think I'm out of chocolate now, that's a good thing.

Still hanging in there,

Oh Hon, I know that you are tired. I also know about trying other

things for kids. I was fortunate that my son loved yogurt. I didn't

mind giving that to him at all.

Try this, leave a note asking your hubby to bring you something back

if he goes out for supper. Well, it could work!;)

I sure hope you have a better night and a much better tomorrow.

something in it gave me a slight headache. I splashed a little

worcestershire sauce and parmesan cheese on it to give it more

I'll be looking for when I start the Elimination Diet. I haven't

really started it yet, but I have been noticing what I eat and the

symptoms I get afterwards. I can't wait to get some fresh fruits and

vegetables and start using my juicer again, but I probably won't be

able to go food shopping until next week. So I'll have to make do

with what I have. I feel so much better this evening than I did this

morning and afternoon. Most of the pain has dissipated, even the

burning / pinching skin sensations I get frequently now. I didn't

eat much of the deer dish, the flavor wasn't the greatest, so my

husband offered to make me a hot dog. At first I said okay, because

I'm so addicted to eating. But then when I thought of all the

preservatives and stuff in there, I kept thinking about all the pain

I was in this afternoon and decided to pass. I have a feeling I'm

going to be losing some weight here shortly.

Oops, don't know what happened first time I tried to respond.

,

I am so glad that Jeff was in a better mood. He may have had a bad

day Tuesday and it carried over at home.

sounds like a pure delight. You are so right to try for her.

You need her and she needs you.

Hang in Sweetie, you already know that RA is a roller-coaster and it

changes all of the time. Somehow, when I am having a rough time, I

know that it will pass. I cling to that knowledge and just TRY to

keep my mouth shut about things at home. They are not as bad as I

think they are when I am in pain.

Have a better day today, and I hope you make it to the store soon.:)
