Seek individual to function as Vice President of Research and Development

managing staff of 40 scientists reporting through 5 Director direct reports.

Product categories are Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, Personal Care, Facial Care

and Home Care products.

Company is over $One billion in worldwide annual sales and noted by Inc.

Magazine as one of America’s 500 Fastest growing companies.

The Vice President of Research and Development will be an expert in leading

global R & D teams and managing mission critical product development projects.

This VP will be a strategist, and creative leader who will lead and manage the

team responsible for innovating Company’s next generation of products in close

collaboration with the executive management team.

Key expectations include:

· Leads all Global Research and Development efforts.

· Leads strategic product development efforts with Marketing and

International Departments on all product categories including nutritional,

pharmaceutical, personal care, home care and facial care, in developing new

products, enacting improvements on existing products and ensuring finished

product delivers end consumer value.

· Leads all product compliance and registration efforts.

· Responsible for all manufacturing integration efforts including

quality control, production, formulation and other related efforts.

Looking for a VP of R & D that possesses entrepreneurial desire to be part of a

closely-held, socially conscious and values based company. The person will have

a proven track record of successfully leading a high growth emerging business

where he/she has been a key figure in developing and leading long and short term

strategic and tactical business efforts. The VP of R & D will be a strong leader

of people with an open and direct style who practices participative management,

adaptability and team building.
