Guest guest
I am new to the website.I was told by my Dr. that when my liver enzymes elevated from the Meth.I never could use it again.I was taking 50mgs of Enbril by injection1x weekly and 15 of Meth by mouth 1x weekly..It was working so well. Now I'm a mess again and i just started Remacade infusions-the dr.said it would ke 3-6 months before I would feel the difference.I read at this site that other people went back on it after a while.I'm so confused and sick of it all.I guess I just depresse about the huge change in my family life over the last 3 years.ssn_cnnrs@... --- On Sun, 7/6/08, < > wrote: From: < > Subject: [ ] Digest Number 8071 Date: Sunday, July 6, 2008, 7:22 PM Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Messages In This Digest (25 Messages) 1a. Re: Sulfasalazine Posted by: " Dorothy " dorv@... dabbvaccaro Sun Jul 6, 2008 6:29 am (PDT) I take 1,000 mg in the morning and 1,000 mg in the evening. I started slowly and added 500 mg a day each week. I don't feel that this will be sufficient for me. I continue to have considerable inflammation and pain. I had been on Plaquenil for several years until I developed eye issues so I was taken off that. I've been on Prednisone up to 60 mg a day and that was terrific!! I was superwoman.. .did all the spring cleaning...but I'm down to 5 mg a day now and all the symptoms have returned. If they could just develop a drug that acted like Prednisone without all the negative sides! My gastro has been reluctant to treat me more aggressively since I have liver problems. I see him again in 2 weeks and will have to press him on a better treatment. I will say that I have had no stomach problems at all. _____ From: @gro ups.com [mailto: @gro ups.com] On Behalf Of ktandtm Sent: Saturday, July 05, 2008 7:08 PM @gro ups.com Subject: [ ] Sulfasalazine Ok I hope someone will reply to this. Does anyone have any experience with Sulfasalazine? Looks like my doc wants to try this drug if things don't improve. Would love to hear anyones experiences with it. Also how large of a dose do/did you take. Thanks,
