Duties include strategy related to type of events, venues, speakers, vendors, and classes. Coordinator will focus on logistics of current Expos, future Expos and possible virtual Expos throughout the US. The candidate must have a superior knowledge of the gluten-free industry, trade show experience, administrative experience and be able to work well on a team. This is a virtual position and will require the candidate to be able to work from home. Social Media Specialist The Social Media Specialist is responsible for defining and executing a specific social media strategy. Duties may include cultivating new communities and managing branded online communities on the company's behalf using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and other social media. The specialist will provide relevant content daily while tracking metrics and monitoring relevant conversations. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of the social media universe, including YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, StumbleUpons, Delicious, Digg, redditt, Pinterest, Google+, formus, wikis and blogs. This is a virtual position and will require the candidate to be able to work from home. Trade Show Site Coordinators The Trade Show Site Coordinator will work the weekend of the Gluten & Allergen Free Expo. This person will work with the current staff to facilitate all necessary tasks at the venue. San Francisco Trade Show Coordinator: February 9-10 Chicago Trade Show Coordinator: April 19-21 The candidate must possess trade show management experience and be able to work extended hours over the course of the weekend. Excellent customer service skills are required. The candidate must reside in the area near the Expo. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
