I have been on Arava. For me, it did very little to nothing for my

inflammation. On top of it, it gave me horrible acid reflux. I personally do

not hear people who have amazing results with Arava, but each medication is

individual.

That sounds like the study I participated in at Baptist Hospital in

Winston-Salem, NC. I also got the cat scan for 3 years. Since I had

smoked for over 34 years but had quit by that time, I was happy to have

my lungs looked at. There was no medication involved in this study. I

do have to continue to fill out a questionnaire every six months. I

don't know how long that will last.

All five of my siblings participated in a study called " Diabetes and

the Heart in Families. " We got all kinds of tests done for free,

including a CT scan of the entire body. Again, there was no medication

involved.
