Guest guest
Is there any published research that shoes adverse health outcomes from taking 1,200 mg or more of calcium in supplements per day? I've found some info on heart disease but was wondering if there was anything else out there. Thanks in advance! Shelby , MS, RD, LD
Guest guest
Certainly Magnesium and Vitamin D are most important. After all, the calcium/magnesium ratio is 2/1 , but few people supplement with magnesium. We found both magnesium and vitamin D and physical activity to be very deficient in our study. Please see flyer for information in our book - Ped Nutr in Chron Dis and Dev Dis Co-author Shirley Ekvall Ph.D.,RD,LD, _ekvallr@..._ (mailto:ekvallr@...) ; _ekvalls@..._ (mailto:ekvalls@...)
