Dear , Hang in there. It really is going to be ok. When we bottom out, it sometimes feels as if we are going to die. You have come to the right place, however, as your candida can be cured and you can return to a normal, healthy life. Probably the first thing you should do is go into the files and read Bee's personal story. She was extremely ill for a very long time, and she recovered. You won't find a better diet or treatment program out there, and if you follow her advice you will get better. > Do you guys know if I drink tons of the > rejuvalac cabbage > drink every day that it will really repopulate my > colon? You definitely don't want to drink tons of cabbage revuvalac at first. You don't want to overdo it and put more stress on your alreadly weakened body. Read the file on How To Successfully Overcome Candida. You need to take it one step at a time. As Bee constantly reminds us, " more is not better. " Give your body the nutients that it needs to heal. Bee will have all kinds of good advice for you, but until then I have copied the file on how to successfully get started below. You WILL get better. You've come to the right place. Muchos saludos, Jeanne OTS ___________ How to get started curing Candida What to do to get rid of candida overgrowth: 1. Eliminate foods that feed candida. 2. Build up the immune system with our unique nutrient-rich diet, including coconut oil, plus essential supplements and by eliminating foods that damage your health. 3. Kill off candida overgrowth with antifungals. 4. Plant good bacteria in the digestive tract with probiotics (good bacteria). Start on #1 first. Do not make any changes all at once. Your body needs time to adjust to each change. Trying to change too much at one time will only make you sicker and overwhelm you and your body. Eliminate all of the foods that feed candida, one step at a time. Once you've accomplished that go on to #2. Again, remember to change your diet one step at a time, and add each of the essential supplements one at a time. After you have completely integrated the entire diet and have gotten through some of the " die-off " symptoms it will create, you are ready to start on antifungals. Some people must be on the diet up to 6 months before they can start antifungals. Again, start at a low dose and gradually increase it. Once you are no longer having severe die-off symptoms from the antifungal you can start on probiotics. At that point in time you are doing all 4 parts of the candida program at the same time. Always start on coconut oil or supplements at a low dose and gradually increase them over time. If you find the dose is causing a lot of problems for you cut back the amount, or split doses up throughout the day. " More is not better " in most cases because you will overwhelm your body, not allowing it time to adjust to changes or new substances, and you will feel sicker and become more discouraged. You cannot rush the body into getting well and there are no quick fixes. The natural healing process takes time, persistence and patience. __________________________________________ DSL – Something to write home about. Just $16.99/mo. or less. dsl. Please do re-check your diet against what I recommend in my article " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " which is very different than any other candida diet - you will see why when you read it. Taking antifungals too soon can overwhelm your body with healing symptoms. Some people need to stay on the diet longer (3-6 months) before taking strong antifungals (other than coconut oil). I was on the diet 6 months before I could tolerate the healing symptoms from antifungals. > Is this disease going to end my life? I am crying as I write this. ==>No this disease will not end your life my friend if you follow what is recommended in my article, doing each step gradually and making changes one step at a time. You can't push the body to heal - it must be allowed time to adjust to each change. You will also have more wins doing it gradually, rather than causing overwhelming symptoms at all once. >My stools are always yellow (sign of antibiotics sterilizing my gut). You can't push the body to heal, and when you read my article you'll understand that you also cannot force it to repopulate your colon. In fact, probiotics like cabbage rejuvelac, are the last step you take in curing your candida. If you start on them too soon you are wasting your time, because first you need to do the diet which will kill off candida too, and at the right time you add strong antifungals such as garlic or oil of oregano. Do it one step at a time my friend. ==>Weight is the least of your problem when you are so severely debilitated with candida overgrowth. At one time I was losing 3 lbs. a day when I started on antifungals. The first step is to completely integrate the diet into your daily routine, along with starting on coconut oil (start with small amounts and gradually increase them per my article). You focus should be on building up your immune system with the diet and supplements first, along with the other helps recommended for digestion, etc. Your energy levels will improve as you able to consume the recommended amounts of good saturated fats and meats. See the Folder in our files on " How to Get Started Treating Candida " and also the Candida Diet Folder which had handy lists of foods you can eat. ==>While you are getting your diet corrected I suggest you go off any and all antifungals or probiotics, and supplements not recommended in my article. Hang in there. If you read about how sick I was and how I cured my candida you will understand. We're here for you. There is hope, but natural healing takes time, consistency with the diet, and patience. Lotsa hugs, Bee
Guest guest
Bee, Thank you, I am crying as I write this, thank you for this website. Guest guest
I have recently had a few symptoms and labs that have been weird to me and want some advice on what to do. I have had recent elevation in my ESR, uric acid and thyroid. My eGFR was 64 at last check and I seem to be experiencing slightly more pain in my knees these days. I recently also had three bouts with fever, the last included chills, body aches and severe pain in the upper part of the lower leg at night. I have not seen a rheumatologist but am wondering when does a patient ask for a consult and when do patients just stay with their GP? My GP is usually pretty good but last appt it was suggested that maybe some of my syptoms were psychosomatic. (at the time and continue to get very fatigued and occassionaly short of breath). Should I be asking my GP for a referal or let her handle it.... Right now she is not looking at any further labs or follow up with me. Any guidance and advice is appreciated. Guest guest
I would insist on a referral to a rheumatologist. Fortunately, my insurance doesn't require referrals, but I know that many times, they are hard to get unless you insist. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of weezie_sneezy Sent: Sunday, July 13, 2008 1:45 PM Subject: [ ] Hi new to this group I have recently had a few symptoms and labs that have been weird to me and want some advice on what to do. Guest guest
I agree. Seek out a specialist. I get short of breath with my rheumatoid arthritis. I know of a patient with with a neurological disorder who was admitted to a psychiatric unit. By the the time it was recognized that she had a " physical " disorder it was too late and she actually died. Better to have all the physical possibilities ruled out (within reason) before seeking psychiatric care - although counseling can be helpful to deal with the stress - so can talking to a good friend.
