Guest guest
I live in Michigan, south of Detroit and am looking for a RA doctor. I currently see one and I am not sure if he is seeing the whole picture or if he is just that confident in his diagnosis (experienced). At my first visit we discussed what was happening, he looked at one one of my legs (from the calf down)and then my hands. I had to squeeze his fingers and stand up facing away from him. I had one xray of my hand. I went back 3mths later, had him check a lump on foot and he xrayed that and it is just changes due to RA. He prescribed minocycline, darvacet and skelexin. I am due to go back after 3 months. My PCP prescribed me celebrex when I told her my experience and she felt my pain wasn't managed well. When on celebrex, my feet and lower legs swelled (bad), I became tired and was exercixe intolerant. I knew I had to stop it. I was the best I had been in a long time. Since I stopped it I can't believe the pain. Just not sure where to go from here. Thanks all
Guest guest
Even though the celbrex helped, it sounds like you were getting too much undesirable side affects and should try something else, be it plaquenil or another DMARD. Call your doctor & discus it with him. > > I live in Michigan, south of Detroit and am looking for a RA doctor.
