Hi i started on four pills a week 2.5 each... It takes he told me about six

to seven weeks for the full effects. Last week after week eight he raised me

to one more pill.

Hope this helps.

Subj: [ ] MTX dosage 7.5, once weekly - Plaquinil?

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone was on a low dose of MTX? My dosage is

7.5 once a week (I take it Sunday night). Because I just started MTX last

Sunday night, I discontinued the Plaquinil. By today, however, my hands and

wrists were back to the original pain. I have called my doctor to see if I

should restart the Plaquinil 2X daily, just until the MTX kicks in. What

does

everyone else think? Do most of you take plaquinil and MTX?

This is so new to me, so sorry for all the questions. :) Oh yes, this

seems to have moved to my right upper jaw, and my right collarbone. Darn!

Neither heat, nor cold, seem to help.

Thank you,
