Guest guest
Group, Well I finally did it. I wanted to wait for my daughter to give it to me, but I got the SureClick and I am tired of hurting. I just thought of my friends here that do it and knew that I could also. Thanks. It took me a couple of mins to realize that I wasn't pushing down hard enough! I can make something simple so hard. I left it out for 30mins, let the alcohol dry and had my bandaid ready. It only hurt for a tiny second and not much at all! All of you are wonderful coaches and I love you. Shirley P.S. My daughter just got here and gave me hug. She said she is so proud of me because she knew that I was scared.

Guest guest
Tawny, I really did think about you. I told you the new pens were so much better! I didn't want to be a chicken because of that. Thank you, Sweetie. Shirley > > > > Group, > > Well I finally did it. Guest guest
Great news Shirley. I am glad you were able to finally give yourself the Enbrel shot. If I ever need that I would probably be scared to give myself a shot also. hugs, Debbie L > > Group, > Well I finally did it. I love the sunrise and sunset. My favorite parts of the day. I love to see what God painted in the sky. God Bless, Shirley > > Shirley and group; > > Awe shirley I am so happy for you . Guest guest
Shirley, I've been taking Humira for the last 6 months......I actually feel like a normal person now. All of my awful pain and swelling has just disappeared....poof! When I saw my rheumatologist in September I asked " How long can I take this? Do people actually not get any side effects for several years? " He said that he hoped I could continue it for many years. He said he has hundreds of patients who are doing sooooooo well on it (combined with MTX, I think). I've had RA for 15 miserable years and taken most of the non-biologic drugs. Humira is a godsend. By the way, I tried the pen and much prefer the syringe. I inject it very slowly in my thigh and although it hurts for the minute or so I'm injecting, I've had no problems afterwards. Thanks for sharing that with the group and all that are hoping for their miracle.
