Guest guest
Stella, I too, am off all meds - other than celebrex. I envy those that can take them. For me personally the side effects and how my body reacts to the medications are worse than the significant joint damage I experience. My Doc said he know people in their 90's in wheelchairs enjoying their families on Xmas morning. He does not want to see me die due to the horrid side efeects I was having. None of these decisions are easy for any of us. We must listen to our bodies and act accordinglly. Many blessings.... You're without any RA meds? Let us know how you do. Shirley > > Bonnie and Group, > > Plaquanil put me in the hospital for 2 days last week. Guest guest
and Shirley, Interesting that when I was weak and fatigued, I didn't experience much pain or none at all. When I was in a lot of pain, I didn't have much fatigue and weakness. One or the other. I'd rather experience the latter. Weakness shuts down the whole body and brain. I'd rather be without meds for RA. I've had these symptom for a many years before any of these meds and it came and went (except the methotrexate in my chemo treatment in 2005 for breast cancer-I felt extra weak during treatment and for a long while after it-actually like I never got my self back). So now I'll just have to wait and see how it all works out. Stella Farnsworth > > > > Bonnie and Group, > > > > Plaquanil put me in the hospital for 2 days last week.
