Thank you so much for the info! He would like me to inject weekly but I am VERY

apprehensive about that much medication in my system at once.... It's a dumb

reasoning I have but I am so afraid that one day I am going to wake up and it

has STOPPED WORKING because I have taken too much!

I think I can deal with every 10 days, though..... Thanks again!

Hi Kami,

i took MTX but it was quite a few years ago. i've been on quite a

few other things since then but right now i am just on Humira.

i have been on the once every two weeks dosage since Dec. 2007.

i think it is working really well for me so far. i have a few days

here and there that i feel stiff and twinges of pain but nothing like

what i would have if i wasn't taking anything.

what worked really well for me was arava, i took that for almost 7

years and most of those days were pain free. my liver enzymes all of

a sudden got out of wack so i had to quit taking it. Once i quit my

liver enzymes went back to normal so we knew it was the med. i was

bummed since it worked so well for me for so long and it was a pill

rather than an injection.

i would definately talk to your doc about the way you feel. My doc

told me there are different cycles of humira you can be on. if i

felt that two weeks wasn't covering my pain she said we could move it

up to once every 10 days. everyone is different of course but you

could ask if that would be an option for you.

Hugs,

Lori
