This is a legitimate post from a computer company around the corner from

Signet. I was impressed with their staff and services when my Toshiba

needed a cleaning and upgrade back in 2009 when I was staying in the area for a

short time. (They were considered a 5 star - top repair facility by Toshiba

back then.)

And, yes, backing up my info as I type!

A few times a year we see a wave of virus infected computers. This is one

of those times. In most cases once your computer is hit with a virus the

only thing we can do for you is back up your data, reinstall the OS.

The most common virus we see are Trojan viruses connected to what looks

like legitimate antivirus software. They’ll pop up on your desktop telling

you that you have been infected and then the bogus software starts to run a

Please always follow a few popular rules when using your computer;

Never open emails and/or attachment sent to you from an unknown source!

Never download music or movie files from any free shared file type

website!

If you are using a free antivirus version, think about upgrading to a paid

version!
