Guest guest
Hi ! Have they examined you physically for FMS? Such as touching the areas that are required for the trigger points that are required of FMS? I had been diagnosed based on my symptoms, while ruling everything else out at the same time. My doctors were even able to feel the knots my myofasica syndrome forms and can feel muscle spasms just by lightly touching my neck and shoulders. ME/Chronic Fatigue syndrome is another illness that causes extreme fatigue and pain but without the tender points and some other issues that go with FMS. I hope you find an answer soon. I know the road to diagnosis can be frustrating..even upon diagnosis trial and error of medications and treatment can be difficult as well. Guest guest
No, still not physically examined yet. My doctor is a general practitioner. She had said something about sending me to a rheumatologist but still has not yet. However, she did put me on Lyrica. Have you ever tried that? I get very dizzy, tired, hard to think straight. She says that all may go away after awhile. I hope so. I have only had it for a week now. The pain seems to be a tiny but better. The dose will be bumped up if I tolerate the first week.-- - > > > > I tested negative for Celiac disease and IBS. I have not yet had > the > > sleep study that my doctor wants. Guest guest
Yes, it is something new according to the doctor. It is a breath test. You stop eating certain foods for a while then you fast for a night then they test your breath in the morning every 20 minutes or so for 2 hours. It is non invasive but very boring!--- > > > > I tested negative for Celiac disease and IBS. I have not yet had > the > > sleep study that my doctor wants.
