Guest guest
My rheum has me on Darvocet or Tramadol which don't help much with my pain either. I am on the NSAID Lodine since my GI doctor suggested it. Does Mobic cause any stomach discomfort? If not too much maybe I can switch to it. Either that or ask for Lodine XL over my regular Lodine. Guest guest
My doctor has me take Prevacid to protect my stomach from the Sulfasalazine and the Mobic that I take for the seronegative inflammatory ra...i'm not noticing that much relief in pain with it though..just the stiffness. I do take Ultram ER 300mg 1 time a day and that seems to be helping a little more than my shortacting tramadol did. With taking Prevacid I didn't notice any stomach issues with the Mobic From: deebs87 <dlohf@...> Subject: [ ] Whose on what for pain/ Mobic Date: Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 10:28 PM My rheum has me on Darvocet or Tramadol which don't help much with my pain either. Guest guest
Thanks for your nice reply. I do take Protonix to help with my Lodine, too. Maybe when I run out of my short acting tramadol I will ask my rheum for the Ultram ER, if it comes in a generic form. When my mail order runs out for the Lodine I will ask for the Mobic then. Guest guest
Mobic can be hard on the stomach for some people. I take prescription omeprazole (prilosec)20mg daily to help with that. I haven't had any problems. > > My rheum has me on Darvocet or Tramadol which don't help much with my > pain either. Guest guest
Thanks for letting me know about Mobic. I do take Protonix since my hospital didn't carry Nexium while there. My GI doctor also has me on Cytec 3x day to protect my stomach from NSAIDs. Also take another stomach med between meals to coat my stomach. When I run out of my Lodine may ask my rheum for Mobic then. Debbie L > > > > My rheum has me on Darvocet or Tramadol which don't help much with my > > pain either.
