Good Morning Group

I have hydrotherapy weekly due to the problems with my neck (all the muscles

have gone into spasm) I was away on holiday last week and managed to get some

serious sunburn on my chest, Im not usually so silly in the sun but somehow this

time i was! I called ahead to my hydro unit to see if was gonna be ok to go in

the water and they said to me just to come and they would have a look.

When i got there they said i couldnt go in the water in case the chlorine

irritated my sunburn! so my physio said we would do something on dry land, and

she gave me acupuncture, i have been wanting to try it for ages but as its quite

expensive i was wary in case i spent a fortune and got nothing from it!

It was amazing, you get the strangest sensation while the needles are in, and i

never felt a thing when she put the needles in, afterwards she told me to move

my neck and for the first time since may i had no pain!! she said i would also

get a good sleep from it, i went to bed at 11pm last night and slept straight

through until 10am!! my neck is a bit sore again today but even for one day

relief i think im definitely going to try it again.

The added bonus of a great sleep has also inspired me to go for it again,

somehow a good sleep makes everything else easier to bear!!

Just wanted to share my experience with the group as i have always been curious

about alternative medicine!

Sharon xx

P.s I also have reiki therapy and get an amazing sleep after that too
