Guest guest
Autumn and group; What a great name. Here's what I think your saying. WE have to stop out shots because the medicine stops our immune sytem from working at full capacity. The shots can cause infections to get much worse. I got very good explanations from everyone. Its the big words that make it hard for me like suppress. So our immune system is what makes the RA so bad. From what I have read I think it means that our immune system attacks our joints because it thinks our joints are foregn invaders. So we stop the shots so our immune system can get back to work to kill what ever infection we may have at the time. I hope I finally got it right. This is what I think everyone has explained so far. THe shots for RA stops our immune system from doing its job with other infections. Our joints is being attacked by our own immune system. I do appreciate everyones explaining this. I just hope I understand correctly. Autumn is such a nice name. I love Autumn too. All the beautiful colors from the trees. The humira helps the RA pain really good. Its the other pains right now I need to work on. I take lyrcia for fibro pain. My body has been wrecked with pain. My RA doc is slowly working on each cause. Up to date the humira takes away the RA pain. Lyrcia takes away the fibro pain. I get steroid shots for bursitis but it dont work completly. I guess some is better than none lol. I heard steroid shots is bad for the bones. Thanks so much Autumn. I hope don't put my name on the subject line anymore. What ever I did I hope I don't do it again haaaaaaaa. I laughed so hard at first when I saw my name on subject line. But I am getting tired of seeing it now. We all suffer from pain here. Clora is not special. I love you all. TAke care. I pray God will make a cure avalable to the doctors for RA especially oh and cancer also. gentle hugs everyone Clora > > Good luck with your pain!! We have to stop our shots because these > medicines suppress the immune system and can cause infections to get > much worse. I'm sure someone can explain this better than I, but this > is the easiest way I can think of to say it... > > Hope this helps > Autumn >
