I've had opportunity to take more than 300mg of Tramadol and it didn't do a thing to or for me. For another person, it may have been a bad overdose. It's really a " crapshoot " when starting a new med or at a point later in the time frame. Usually the med won't cause dramatic effects, but there's always a chance at some point.
