Guest guest
I have Sjogren's Syndrome with supposedly non-deforning arthritis being my most difficult symptom. Why I say supposedly is because a few years ago, the people doing x-rays for a bone break said they saw the arthritis evidence in my toes and ankle area. I have sero-positive Sjogren's and no RF. Anyway, I can't take NSAIDS because of the damage done to my stomach by taking them for years and also from the Sjogren's, I take lortabs every eight hours and am on Medrol 4mg., MTX 7.5 mg. once weekly, and plaquenil 200mg daily to prevent inflammation and hopefully lessen pain. My rheumatologist thought that adding the MTX may lessen the pain enough to get rid of the Medrol and the lortabs. I have been on it for three weeks and I don't think so. Lessening the Medrol will probably work. in Space Coast mchristinad@...
