New again/question about imuran

I used to be on the board then left. I actually have MCTD (mixed

connective tissue disease) but my primary illnesses are lupus and RA.

Because of the mctd I was told I can't do any of the biologics for RA

because it could make the lupus worse. I am currently on Plaquenil and

Mobic but it seems to not be cutting it. I am in a huge flare and I

see my rheumy on Thurs. He has mentioned Imuran in the past but I

wasn't sure of it. Any experience with it I would love to hear about.

Tried Methotrexate in the past and it didn't do much for me but I am

considering it with the plaquenil combo. Just don't know.
