What this person does not understand that for those people who are overweight

and obese without artificially doing so (like he did) there are emotional and

psycological reasons for their weight....it is not just calories in....calories

out. If that were the case then no one would carry extra weight. This is a

false test and in no way can he " feel what it is like to be fat and then have to

lose the weight " . He is missing a huge part of the equation and the largest

barrier to weight loss and sustained weight loss......I agree with you

Similar situation when Spurlock did his video experiment. Unnatural

situation for him as well and the extra weight he gained probably came off with

minimal change from his pre-SuperSize me lifestyle.

Rather than " learning what it feels like to be fat " , the real issue is that

Personal Trainer is gaining national attention and will garner big bucks in

speaking engagements; not to mention he can be very selective about picking

his client$ after all this attention.

It's all about the marketing.

>> Another one who wants to get his minutes of fame.In spite of his experience ,

so he will understand what's it like to be fat...he will never get it. Bc AGAIN:

being fat is not about a choice to start eating 12 doughnuts in one sitting or

17 hotdogs or 50 chicken nuggets. the fact that in week 11 he still calls it a

challenge, shows he still doesn't get it what makes a person obese. It is

interesting that in wk 12 he is eating 2 loco moco and he blames the rice for

the filling sensation (yes, blame the carbs, the new enemy), not the 2 meat

patties he ate already. He is so judgmental every day, saying how he is goings

to puke every moment. I don't know. the whole thing looks so insincere. It looks

like every week he is eating only one big, huge meal that even an average overwt

person does not eat in one sitting.wk 21, still complaining he's " about to

puke " .Notice that he gains less and less every week, which supports my

assumption that he is eating (or

trying to eat) one huge meal a week, for the video. As of Oct. 22nd there are no

new videos on youtubes. As of this wkend of Nov 5 he is in his " back to fit "

phase. What's going on these 2 wks?I wonder how difficult it will be for

someone, who never been unfit, out-of-shape and always been very conscience

about his intake, to lose the wt.I don't think he will get the message bc he was

disgusted with all foods he ate. Not to mention, most overwt and obese people

don't get obese in the course of 24 wks. and as I said in previous discussions

on obesity, no one wakes up one morning (like this guy did) and decides " let me

be fat " . I am afraid that it will send the wrong message to most people who will

conclude that all obese/overwt people are just " lazy " and will make the struggle

of people with their wt even more painful as they will be judged and

discriminated against even more.
