Guest guest
My insurance company told me that they don't consider RA a chronic disease. HELLO, I had it for over 32 long years. Every day I am aware of it but it's not chronic? It seems that for certain diseases they will allow you to get a 3 month supply of meds and you only have to pay for 2 months of the med. Some of my meds do fall into that catagory but only because they work for other diseases ie. I take Azulfadine which is for colitis which I don't have. Actually I am VERY grateful that I have insurance through my work, so don't get me wrong, but it just seems absurd that they consider RA not chronic. What kind of idiot makes that determination?
