Doreen, my rheumy detected a heart murmur at my last two visits, and

sent me for an echocardiogram. I have aortic valve regurgitation, and

I've been wondering if it might have been caused by my RA. Although my

RA is under wonderful control now, it did start off with a bang. The

nurse is the one who called me with the results, so I haven't talked

with my rheumy about it yet.

But inflammation can certainly have an effect on the cardiovascular

system.
