RA/FMS = Abnormal EKG & Enlarged Heart?

I am attempting to take part in a clinical study. As part of the work-

up to see if I qualify for the study, I had to give blood, a

urinalysis, an EKG and a Chest X-ray. I don't know the results of the

blood or urine yet. The EKG was abnormal (consider inferior myocardial

damage) as was the Chest X-ray (Mild cardiac & central vascular

prominence. Possible early Congestive Heart Failure). I failed an EKG

and stress test about two years ago and had to have a heart

catheterization. The only finding then was mild pulmonary

hypertension. With all of the inflammation associated with RA & FMS,

I wonder if this is something IN ADDITION TO my RA & FMS or is this all

part of the disease, too? Has anyone experienced similar findings?
