We looked at the xrays and my wrist has 2 spots that are bone on bone. He wants to operate and give me either a joint replacement or freeze the whole wrist. If we go with joint replacement - I will have to get another one someday since I am only 44. Has anyone had a joint replacement in their wrist? > > > Thanks- > > Jill in Nashville TN >
Guest guest
Jill in nashville i am so sorry. I think that is the things on our bones from the rheumatoid arthritis. I am waiting for mine to start. I can feel a lot of little ones. but nothing definate yet Thank God. My cap button dont work half the time I got to back space and rehit the cap to work. So if there in not a cap where it should be its cause i got tired of backspacing hugs Clora From: Jill Watkins <jill.watkins@...> Subject: [ ] Wrist issues Date: Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 12:38 PM > > > My right wrist and hand have been hurting worse and worse. Guest guest
I have a guestion regarding wrist issues. Mine hurt very bad as well, along with my hands and fingers. Okay, question, just next to our wrist bone we have a little place right under there...not sure if it has a name..mine on my left hand swells and becomes a big knot...when i rub it..it shoots pain up to my fingers..now the one on my right hand is starting to get sensitive. Has anyone ever had this and is this the problem you started out with ???
Guest guest
Mine actually started in my feet and then my hands and wrist. But now I have a knot on the side of my wrist, left hand right left side of my wrist by my wrist bone. She had done xrays in Feb. The only deformity shown there was in my little finger but the inflammation was from the first knucle all the way down thru my wrists on both hands. I am thinking she will do another soon. I have an appt on Tuesday, she bumped it up a month because I am hurting so bad right now. I will ask about an MRI. Thank you, wishing all a pain free day.
