Guest guest
Where is Pat when you need her??*LOL* PATTTT!! She always has good info on these things. Okay, I just want to say that I used products with Ephedra for a long time. I relied on them for energy. What they did is took my appetite away, which just helped my eating disorder progress even more. A lot of people think the warnings about it are just hype, but anything that messes with your heart rate can be dangerous. If you felt your heart palpitating, would it scare you? Well, Ephedra is an herbal amphetamine like stimulant... a legal " Speed " , although maybe not as strong. However, there are legal cases now being filed in behalf of people who've taken Ephedra, also known as Ma Huang, who have suffered strokes, kidney damage, heart damage, etc... Now, while we have taken it at our own risk and I don't think *I* personally would sue a company, the fact that it can cause your heart to palpitate and jump should scare you, even just a little. If you are taking it, be very careful and check with your doctor regularly. If you are thinking about taking it, think twice, consult your doctor. Personally, I don't recommend it, but thats just my opinion. Kari
