Suz,

Although I think highly of my Dr.'s I never received a definitive answer to that

question.

It was my Primary Care Provider that put me on the BP meds. Over eleven months

starting Feb 07 we finally got the meds to where my BP has returned to normal

for me by taking Toprol, Hydrochlorot and Diovan one each daily.

Looking back on the dates I started each med that I've been on and still

taking the pulmonary hyptertension problem does not correlate with starting any

of the meds. I can say for me pulmonary hyptertension didn't come on all of a

sudden but over time. My BP would be fine then would go up for awhile then

return back to normal for me. After some time it finally just stayed up and

that's when slowly the meds were added.

The pulmonary hyptertension problem has been since the RA diagnosis.

Best of luck with the Lyrica.

After less then 2 weeks I've noticed it's cut my pain/discomfort level in half.

Judy, thanks for your post I'm hoping Lyrica will be more effective

than Neuronton (Galabentin). I also have pulmonary hyptertension. Has

your doc related it to your RA or the meds?
