Guest guest
Well today we saw the RA Specialist...he did some more indepth blood work, for lupus. On her initial visit we didn't think she had RA so he tested for lupus. Well the test came back positive. we just got the news today and we are soaking it all in. she was also told she has sjogrens also. she will start plaquenil after she gets her eyes checked and he started her on celebrx today to help in her pain. she is VERY stiff, can't walk well, stand up, take her shirt off, put on her book bag, get out of a car. all this simple things she is having a very hard time with. we hope she gets relief soon. we are also debating on getting a second opinion. we are also waiting to hear back from her primary doc to give her the news...and ask her opinion...and thoughts on this is appreciated...
