Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have my follow up appt. this afternoon at the pain management clinic to find the results of the xrays and bloodwork, physical therapy eval and rheumatologist eval. Any suggestions on questions I should ask? I always get nervous and forget things, so I would appreciate any thoughts to help me get the best care from this place. Guest guest
Charlotte, First I hope that your test reults are good. Your questions of course will depend on what they find. Personally I would address the pain, What is causing it, what can I do to help, what treatment is there and what is the best outcome to try to achieve? Anything else that you are experiencing, you could approach similarly. If they put you on new medication be sure to ask what the side effects are. Sometimes I get confused with side effects and a change to my symptoms or body. Like, is it the medication or have I changed? That is why it is important to keep notes. I hope someone else will have suggestions for you also. Good luck and God Bless, Shirley > > Hi everyone, I have my follow up appt. this afternoon at the pain > management clinic to find the results of the xrays and bloodwork, > physical therapy eval and rheumatologist eval. Guest guest
Good luck today. I don't think you'll have a problem getting treated there.I hope you get some answers and feel better about the treatment Shane is getting.Mommy to Thaddeus Sent from my iPhoneOn Feb 8, 2011, at 6:02 AM, "suzy12771" <suzy3333@...> wrote: I am taking Shane to Shriner's in Philly today. I am hoping that they take Shane on as a patient and not hold it against us that he has already been casted elsewhere. I am also hoping that they tell me that the cast Shane was put into on 1/11/11 is appropriate and that we didn't do it for nothing. After speaking with (she is an angel that without her, I would be clueless), I fear that he's in the wrong cast (his starts at a little under the armpits). I fear that because of the curve on top that maybe he should be in an over the shoulder cast. He has 3 curves. I don't know how you guys post the x-rays on here. If I could figure it out, I would post it to show you. Anyway, wish me and Shane luck. And if you know of any questions I should ask Dr. C, please, please, please, let me know. I'll be checking my email throughout the day. Have a great day, everyone. I will update tonight when I get home (and the babies go to bed). , I will call you tonight as well. Guest guest
Suzanne,Very best of luck to you and Shane today! I posted X-rays by taking a pic right off of my computer screen (the hospital sends us a disc) and then saving it to my photo files and attaching it to the email.
