Guest guest
Doreen and group; Thanks so much Doreen, your encouragment is much appreciated. I got my shot a couple hours ago. Right, maybe it takes a few injections to last all 2 weeks. If not after this, I am going to request enbral because its every week. Could someone explain to me why we have to stop our injections to get a tooth pulled or to take antibiotics??? I have an appointment for my second sleep study the 28th. My doctor thinks its my c-pap not set up for me. I am guessing they can set it on different speeds. I told the lady that brought it that it wasnt coming out fast enough. She laughed at me and said " Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa no one has ever asked that beforel. " So I never said anything else about it. I felt really stupid. Wish I had her name for later. The Patches help my lower back emensilly. But my neck pain is horrable. I can't keep the patch on that hump below my neck. My RA said that the neck pain was RA, however; It keeps hurting even after the humira injection. My head feels like its to haevy for my neck. Anyone have this problem? If so what is it? I have redflagged all the post I need to answer, so thats what I am doing this morning. Thanks everyone for your prayers. I do believe in the miracles of prayer. Doreen I was up early this morning. I took the humira out to warm up an hour. First thing I thought when I woke up it's friday Yippee. Thanks! Gentle hugs everyone Clora > Hang in there, Clora. When you talk about cpap, it's " pressure " not " fast enough " . She probably thought that was a cute way of putting rather than thinking you were dumb. Your cpap certainly could be set at the wrong pressure setting for you. If it's not set high enough, then there isn't enough pressure to keep your upper airway open, which to you, could certainly feel like it's " not fast enough " . Or they may have recommended the wrong pressure during your first sleep study. I had my cpap for several years, and started having problems with it shutting off within 5 minutes of it being turned in. It went in to be repair and they discovered the machine was set as if I was way above sea level which meant, I was getting the wrong pressure. Don't feel stupid about this, sometimes people just talk about things in different than normal (for the technician) fashion. I've done this plenty of times as have probably most people. I hope you get things set right for you. It's made a huge difference in my life! Darcy
Guest guest
Hi Clora I sure hope you are better, maybe not pain free but more comfortable. FYI (for your information) I have been giving myself Humira injections weekly for over 4 years. If Humira has worked for you but not for the entire 2 weeks, you might think about trying it weekly. As a friend once told me, try and come up with at least 20 different options, no matter how ridiculous they might be and you will find an answer. Hope this might help you with different options.
