Guest guest
I had my exam this morning and it was pretty cut and dried...no poking though! Since my fingers are only slightly inflamed today, although the disfiguration is evident, I think that as long as I can walk across the examining room, they'll stamp me " DENIED " and tell me to go get a job. If my SSD gets approved, I'll be very surprised...very happy, but very surprised. Thanks...I am getting ready to leave in a little while for the exam. I'm a little calmer than over the weekend. I'll let you know if I get POKED!! Dorothy - that's EXACTLY what that nurse did to me. I don't know what the SSA did regarding her employment, but they certainly acknowledged my complaint and apologized promising to look into the situation. I never heard anymore after that. I hope I didn't make your anxiety any worse because I honestly believe this was an isolated incident. I've discussed this with others who have had to go through the same process and they never heard of such a thing either. I think this particular woman was way over the top! Best of luck to you............Doreen > > You mean the nurse poked you in the belly suggesting that you were > overweight??????
