Guest guest Posted January 18, 2007 Report Share Posted January 18, 2007 Dear All, RATNEI's International Standard 5 days training session on " AIDS Project Planning and Management " was inaugurated today by His Excellency Governor of Bihar, Dr R S Gavai at Patna. He assured all help in HIV AIDS prevention activities by NGO's. Altogether 51 participants from different states of India, Nepal and Bangladesh participated in the training. International experts from USA included Mr Walter Chow, Senior Advisor, CDC Atlanta and Senior Epidemiologist and President International Health Organization, Dr Bikash Verma from Massachusetts, USA. Those who were present in the inaugural session included Executive Director of IHO Dr Anil Purohit, President RATNEI Advisory Board Dr A K Singh, Regional Director IHO, Dr B B Verma, President IHO Advisory Board, Dr H R Mishra, Noted ENTSurgeon of Bihar, Dr K K Sharan. Medical Director Regional AIDS Training Centrer and Network in India (RATNEI), Dr Diwakar Tejaswi informed that the third cycle of RATNEI Training will continue every month. Next Modular training on HIV Prevention and Education is scheduled from February 19- February 23, 2006 at Patna. It is important to note that tuition fee is waived.
