Guest guest
Hi Everyone. I am new to the group, but I have had RA for 5 years, and Sjogren's for 2. Almost 2 years ago I took enbrel and had the symptoms of MS. I did LOVE the enbrel though! When I stopped the enbrel I got better, and I had a normal MRI. I had a baby in February and when she was 6 weeks I started getting this numb feeling. So back to the dr's again. I still have normal MRI's of my head, neck and back. So they are saying no to MS. The neurologist says he thinks my arthritis is the cause. I tripped and now I am having major foot drop. They are saying that I have peripheral neuropathy. I have numbness in my lower legs, hands and forearms and face. My rheumy refuses to see me for this saying I need to see the neurologist. The neurologist STILL thinks it is arthritis either my ra or Sjogren's. My RA is not bothering me, but my Sjogren's has flared in the last few weeks. I just found out that my Sjogren's diagnosis is in question since I am negative for the antibodies, and I never had a lip biopsy. Of course I still have the sicca symptoms. Has anybody experienced this with RA? I moved last year, and since this things have gone crazy for me. I am looking for my THIRD rheumy since moving here. I never understood before how difficult this could be. Thanks,
