You might be able to get an anti-nausea pill to take with the Mtx. Then you

might not vomit in your sleep. I've been prescribed one because I'm having so

much trouble with reflux and the reflux drugs aren't totally taking care of

it. Last night, I considered surgery for it.

Clora,

I will talk to my doctor, and see if I can't get back on the mtx

injections. You are right, throwing up when your asleep is NOT

good. My grandfather died of choking to death on his throw-up. He

was drunk, and that is the way he died, in a hotel. I sure don't

want to be like him.

I just take the mtx before bed, because of the side effects. I've

tried taking it while I'm up, and I get REALLY sick. So, I have

taken mtx for years, and it just started this, so not doing well on

it this time around.

Group;

I am very worried about anyone throwing up while they are asleep. I

have heard and read many stories where people have choked to death

while throwing up after they went to sleep.

Please do not take any medicine that will cause you to throw up

while your asleep because of choking to death. Stories about

getting drunk and falling to sleep and choking to death is usually

what happens. I am sure no one so far is sick from getting drunk.

I have heard several people say they woke up throwing up. Its very

lucky you was able to wake up. So please do what every you can to

keep from throwing up during sleep. I am just worried about this

happening to one of the group. Please please be very careful and

believe me of what I am saying.

gentle kind hugs.
